A Season of Wishes® combines the spirit of holiday giving with hope, strength and joy that is generated from a Make-A-Wish experience. The campaign also provides a tremendous forum for the public to experience the extraordinary emotional impact that comes from fulfilling a child's greatest wish. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota will have a booth in the Macy's Court beginning Friday, November 26th (7am-7pm) through Saturday, December 18th from 10am-7pm! Stop by and help us light up the life of a child and grant 50 wishes this holiday season!

Make A Wish Mission

A child facing a life-threatening or critical illness needs many things. A loving family. Excellent medical services. An extended community of supportive, loyal friends, teachers, and people who care. They also need times of hope and laughter and fun. Time to be who they are...children. They are children who want to think about something other than their illness, who want to imagine a future with better days and dreams that come true. That’s where the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® comes in.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation is dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy!

In fulfilling wishes, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota puts emphasis on the pure joy of a wish come true... it has been said that doctors provide the medicine and we provide the magic.

Rice Park Tree Lighting

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Minnesota, along with Capital City Partnership, the City of St. Paul, and Xcel Energy, invite you to experienceRice Park powered by Xcel Energy in downtown St. Paul. Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to witness the St. Paul community granting a wish on November 27! Support the Foundation by donating $5 to receive a candle for the evening and help grant a wish.

Rice Park powered by Xcel Energy radiates with holiday spirit by illuminating a tree as tall and magnificent as the iconic Rockefeller Center tree in New York City. The gigantic tree will be lit with over 30,000 energy-efficient LED lights 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The park will sparkle with millions of twinkling lights, classic Nutcracker and angel statues, and other holiday décor. View this enchanting winter wonderland from November 27, 2010 – January 1, 2011.
